The Diploma of Community and Social Development is designed as an early exit point from the Bachelor of Community and Social Development for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, as a qualification to enhance employment opportunities in the community sector. The Diploma is delivered in block mode, and provides support in developing academic skills as a foundation for further university study. Further, it provides introductory content for the social sciences and other areas of study, as a pathway to the completion of the Bachelor of Community and Social Development, or other degrees at Western Sydney University.

This course is an exit course only. Applicants apply to 1689 Bachelor of Community and Social Development and exit with the Diploma in Community and Social Development on successful completion of 80 credit points.
