Description In this capstone subject students will extend their learning to include knowledge production and translation to practice. Students will investigate clinical questions through engagement in collaborative processes such as peer to peer teaching and critical observation. Students will develop the capacity to analyse practice and provide constructive feedback to improve clinical quality and enable translation and dissemination of knowledge into practice.

Restrictions

Must be enrolled in 4790 Bachelor of Paramedicine.
Must have completed 160 Credit Points.

  1. Analyse self-practice to identify gaps in knowledge, skills or behaviours specific to paramedicine practice
  2. Synthesise evidence in order to answer self-formed questions
  3. Work collaboratively to formulate education strategies
  4. Apply evidence transfer and translation
  5. Create educational strategies to promote evidence transfer and translation
  6. Facilitate effective peer to peer teaching in a medical simulation context
  7. Critically analyse clinical practice and provide quality improvement feedback
