About this Unit
From 2009 this unit is being replaced by 300652 - Nutrition and Health Biochemistry. This unit builds upon and integrates knowledge gained in basic biochemistry, human physiology and nutrition. It applies to metabolism from the cellular level to the whole body emphasising the utilisation of macronutrients for energy.
