The unit aims to provide a detailed study of laws which impact on estate and succession planning, with a focus on identifying practical and strategic planning opportunities and outcomes. The unit forms part of the elective stream of a sub-major in financial planning. Some issues considered in this unit also have an impact in respect to investments, insurance and risk management, superannuation and taxation consequences.
