About this Unit
The theme of this practicum is community nutrition and health promotion. This unit explores the role of community nutrition through the scope and context of health promotion and public health. It provides students with cognisance and experience to plan, implement and evaluate community nutrition and health promotion initiatives. Through consultative and collaborative processes students will conduct, analyse and report a qualitative research study which forms part of a health promotion initiative.
