About this Unit
This unit has co-requisites AG211A, AG212A and AG213A for the Bachelor of Systems Agriculture and co-requisites AG214A, AG215A and AG216A for the Bachelor of Landscape Management & Conservation. It is expected that students doing this unit spend 2 weeks work experience in November/December with their Off Campus industry client; attend a pre-OCE workshop late January; work 4 days a week for four weeks with and undertake an analysis of the design of the clients industry organisation over the next 4 weeks before Autumn semester starts and work 4 days a week for four weeks with and undertake a systemic analysis of their clients industry organisation. This unit involves the student learning from all their above industry experiences to develop their professional competence and industry credibility. This includes critically reflecting on their industry and research experiences, building their industry knowledge, professional relationships, networks, learning, ability to communicate, systemic, holistic and multi-perspective ways of complex situations and presenting a case for their personal and professional development.
