This unit develops expression in written styles and forms appropriate to a variety of contexts. It looks at cognitive processes in writing, and lateral thinking; strategies of writing to learn; exploration in pre-writing; formats of experimental writing; power of language; evaluative process; and development of individual and collaborative techniques useful in planning and executing writing projects.
