About this Unit
This is a year long core unit in the Graduate Diploma in Advanced Gynaecological Surgery and Year 1 of the Master of Surgery (Advanced Gynaecological Surgery).
This unit aims to allow students to discuss and reflect on a broad range of topics pertaining to Advanced Gynaecological Surgery with an emphasis on minimally invasive techniques.
The pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative management of patients and their conditions are considered with a review of the literature to substantiate and support any conclusions made which may help shape future clinical practice.
