About this Unit
Diagnostic Imaging is an important unit in understanding the radiographic and advanced diagnostic techniques. Plain film radiograph (X-ray), ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging and computer tomography techniques are presented as diagnostic means of confirming and determining disease, and the extent of a disease process. Clinical interpretation of diseases in diagnostic imaging is given, and guidelines on requesting the diagnostic imaging techniques are provided.
