About this Unit
This unit is divided into two streams. This unit will introduce students to the epidemiology, pathophysiology, clinical presentation, diagnosis and management of neurological conditions affecting the central and peripheral nervous systems in the context of clinical pain sciences and osteopathic philosophy. This unit will also enable students to acquire a sound, research-based understanding of the orthopaedic assessment of the central and peripheral nervous system with an emphasis on clinical reasoning skills and a current knowledge of applied anatomy and pathophysiology.
