About this Unit
Social and Health Care research makes use of different methodologies and a variety of research designs to obtain, record, analyse interpret and disseminate information. This unit seeks to give students the fundamental skills for quantitative and qualitative research. Computer packages such as ENVIVO and SPSS will be used to help record data and assist in statistical procedures. This unit will help students select the methodology they need for research in terms of the problems they seek to solve.
