About this Unit
This unit will introduce students to general management theory and the application of this theory to the development and implementation of business strategy. Topics covered will be directed towards providing students with relevant information to research, design and operate a rural enterprise. Topics include development of business plans, analysis of key performance indicators and methods of analysing farming systems in terms of biological, social, financial and marketing perspectives and other factors affecting system performance.
