About this Unit
This unit is replaced by 300580 Programming Fundamentals in 2008. Fluency in a programming language is prerequisite to the study of most of computer science. This unit introduces students to the knowledge area consisting of those skills and concepts that are essential to programming practice independent of the underlying paradigm. For practical exercises students will use pseudocode and a selected clearly defined suitable subset of a high level programming language.
