They acquire the knowledge and skills to prescribe for and to treat a client for a diagnosed condition of these systems. The unit focuses on common symptoms of clients in naturopathic clinic. Diagnosis is based on both allopathic and naturopathic approaches. Clinical practice is integrated with 25066 Nutrition 3 and 25068 Symptomatology and Diagnosis 2 clinical practice. Students assess and treat a range of clients on a one-to-one basis under supervision. The unit enables students to assess clients' suitability for naturopathic treatment, consider the best treatment options from the range of naturopathic modalities and devise appropriate treatment plans.
