About this Unit
The overall aim of this unit is to facilitate the development of students to become practicing Planners and to prepare them for professional careers in planning. It deals with professional competencies and standards of service expected from professional Planners operating in various capacities. The unit requires students to articulate a description of the competencies and ethical standards needed in discharging their duties in various work contexts. The unit also seeks to develop interpersonal and presentation skills.
