About this Unit
This unit focuses on the nature of development of, learning about, and teaching young children. The importance of the environment, adults and peers in the lives of young children is explored through integrated creative arts, and investigative and movement activities that enhance learning and development. Students are introduced to the educator's role in planning appropriate play and other learning experiences in an integrated context.
