About this Unit
Students gain an historical, theoretical and practical understanding of photo-documentary, editorial, fashion, portraiture, and product and corporate identity photography. Through an investigation of representation and construction of visual identity they examine the range of interpretations of these genres and issues relating to portrayal. Students study advanced colour, advanced studio lighting, reading available light, and advanced digital image processing (digital pre-press and output).
