About this Unit
Students examine notions of truth and reality in the photographic medium and its implications for representation and construction of personal and social identity. They explore a range of issues relating to the construction of fictional and non-fictional narratives. Students study advanced black and white, colour, studio lighting, medium format camera use, and digital image processing (analogue to digital to analogue conversion and image retouching).
