About this Unit
Interactive media and environmental architecture are considered in terms of the production and consumption of the designed experience. This unit explores settings from the planning of this artificial experience. Students experiment with new metaphorical layers of the constructed world to understand change between private and public zones. They design a space for subjective experience through objects and space/interactive installation.
