About this Unit
In 2015 this unit replaced by 102263 - Image Design. This unit introduces students to photographic image making for the purpose of representation, through engagement with issues based projects. It covers first principles of the photographic medium and it’s many uses in the context of Visual Communication. It will introduce students to the range of ways in which pictorial information can be designed and used to communicate a message to an audience utilizing a variety of techniques, strategies, principles of composition, structure and image organization.
