About this Unit
Covers the theory and practice of using social/digital media for promotion. Provides an introduction to the areas of strategy, creative and media planning for social/digital media. Examines the trends and issues surrounding the use of social/digital media for promotion. Uses case studies and examples to demonstrate how social/digital media can be used for promotion. For the major project students develop an introductory social/digital media campaign of their own. This project and the skills and knowledge in the unit will be useful for all majors in Communication, as well as Design and Marketing students.
