About this Unit
In 2015 this unit replaced by 102208 - Fundamentals for Working Mathematically. Students will develop and use a variety of problem solving and mathematical modelling techniques to highlight the importance of algebra, data and graphical representations in mathematics. The inherent structure and power of mathematics to address problems faced by people will be approached through the examination of various mathematical applications. This unit contributes directly to the achievement of a sound understanding and foundation in mathematics.
