About this Unit
This unit is designed as an introduction to contemporary and popular culture of Japanese-speaking people as well as an elementary introduction to the Japanese Language. It is intended either for students commencing their major in Japanese at beginner level OR as an elective unit. Students taking this unit as part of their major will also take Japanese 101. (Components of this unit may be partly presented in English).
