About this Unit
Theoretical knowledge and technical skills associated with coaching expertise in the fields of aquatics and individual sports are presented. Lectures and workshops, will build on the motor learning theory of previous units. Planning and the implementation of coaching programs and sessions for the various areas covered will be presented through modeling and student assessment tasks. Practical work, coaching and officials certificates are an integral component of this unit and as such students may need to pay for the cost of these. Travel to off campus locations for the delivery of this unit is in the students own time and at their own expense.
