About this Unit
This unit will allow students to expand their theoretical knowledge and practical experience in a selection of team sports. The subject focuses on motor learning and the acquisition of skill. Skills and activities included are designed to promote their performance in and understanding of the teaching process in this area of physical education. The historical development of the sport and the role the sport plays in society today will be examined in the overall teaching of selected team sports.
