About this Unit
This unit explores approaches to story sequencing, through examining case studies in visual allegory, metaphor, and fantasy. Students are introduced to a range of approaches to story telling, including frame analysis, dramatization, visual experience, and use of specific sound, image, text and timing. General principles of visual movement and styling are introduced, as well as the development of an understanding of the role of the audience, the story teller and the particular context and medium which will be used to tell the story.
