Issues related to sport participation and competition will be addressed to provide a holistic perspective for the Sport Psychologist. These will involve such issues of concern as: retirement and career transition; burnout and over-training; emotional skills training; injury; disabilities; team cohesion and coach/athlete harmony; substance abuse; psychological well-being and its relationship to sleep and exercise; and, factors associated with long-term success.
