About this Unit
This unit is designed to explore the content and pedagogies of Health and Physical Education (HPE) in the
PDHPE NSW K-6 curriculum. Students will develop an understanding of effective pedagogies of HPE. The knowledge and skills developed in this unit can be applied in the other units of study in the course and Professional Experience units. This unit aims to develop teachers who demonstrate empathy with diverse groups of student learners and commitment to socially just schools and classrooms.
