About this Unit
This unit is driven by the scientific method with a focus on experimental design and related data analysis. Although some of the methods and techniques are studied in earlier units, a more in-depth approach is adopted here. Research design and methodology issues, statistical concepts and techniques, computer analysis of data, and communicating research findings are all features of this unit. The Bachelor of Science, Criminology and Psychological Studies is not accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC). This unit is not equivalent to and cannot be granted as Advanced Standing against a corresponding Psychology unit in an APAC accredited Psychology sequence.
