This sub-major is aimed at providing bilingual students with knowledge of the theoretical underpinnings and the essential skills needed to pursue further studies and career in interpreting and translation. Students wishing to take this sub-major must have native or near-native written and oral proficiency in one of the following languages: Arabic, Japanese, Mandarin or Spanish. Students must choose four of the units listed in the unit set structure having as their first choice unit 100195 - Introduction to Translation.
