The Undergraduate Certificate in Aged Care Support provides an introduction to the health sciences, focusing on the aged care sector. Aged care is the support provided to older people in their own home or in an aged care facility. It can include assistance with everyday living, health care, accommodation and equipment such as walking frames or ramps. Aged care plays a vital role in society, in ensuring the provision of both skilled and custodial care as well as ensuring dedicated care and assistance with their daily activities to improve quality of life.
