About this Unit
This unit synthesises the principal theoretical results in the finance literature. The seminal elements of the supporting body of empirical tests are surveyed and the present state of the art and its application to financial choices examined. Students to obtain an up-to-date account and evaluation of the important current issues in financial theory, policy and management. Recent developments in the theory reach an understanding of the complexities involved in settling empirical issues, and to appreciate the implications for providing financial advice are critically assessed.
