This unit replaced by 200662 - Advanced Criminal Law. This unit extends students' knowledge beyond that of the core 0F02 Bachelor of Laws unit Criminal Law. Students extend their knowledge of the mechanics of the criminal law by an analysis of the inter-relationships between the core 'black letter' criminal law and the 'users', providers and protectors of that criminal law. In addition, the procedural and practical aspects of the criminal law beyond the skills components of core 0F02 Bachelor of Laws units are covered.
