About this Unit
This unit will elaborate on professional nursing concepts and practices that promote, maintain and support people who are experiencing health breakdown affecting breathing, work/leisure and mobility.
Special Requirements - Legislative Pre-requisites
To undertake this unit, students must comply with the following special requirements: Prior to enrolling in this unit students must have: 1) submitted a Criminal Record Check form prior to 1 June 2010 or a Student Undertaking Form after 1 June 2010 and have applied for a National Police Certificate 2) submitted a Prohibited Employment Declaration prior to 1 June 2010 or a Working with Children Check Student Declaration after 1 June 2010 3) provide evidence of compliance with the occupational screening and immunisation policy of NSW Health 4) possess a current WorkCover Authority approved First Aid Certificate.
