About this Unit
In 2010 this unit replaced by 400891 - Movement and Skill Development. The focus of this unit will be on teaching games for understanding through the development of fundamental movement skills. This unit will allow students to expand their theoretical knowledge and practical experience in a selection of invasion/territorial sports through a game sense and fundamental movement skills approach. The subject focuses on motor learning and the acquisition of skill. Skills and activities included are designed to promote their performance in and understanding of the teaching process in this area of physical education.
