About this Unit
In 2019 this unit replaced by 201019 - Business Analytics in Practice. Many decisions made by marketing managers need to focus on a solutions based approach as part of longer term strategic planning. However, in order to determine a viable ‘solution’, managers must be able to source and understand relevant, meaningful information. This unit provides students with the basics of understanding marketing data, but more importantly how to use it to come up with resolutions to business issues. Emphasis is placed on analysis of the data using a range of case studies. Students will also have the opportunity to research a business issue relevant to their own interests and business needs.
