About this Unit
Students examine the major areas of psychological enquiry and their application in the aviation environment. The unit examines the role of human factors in the design of systems, through the impact of human performance in complex aeronautical domains and the impact of information processing on human performance. A consistent theme is the relationship between theory and the applied outcomes.
