This unit is intended to provide students with an understanding of the effects of mass media on public opinion as a foundation for designing media material and media campaigns appropriate to the solution of specific public relations problems. Students will undertake the preparation of media material to develop an understanding of the role strategic use of the media can play in a public relations campaign.
