About this Unit
This unit develops the concepts, themes and techniques presented in the first session of the course. It introduces the techniques of a traditional cell-by-cell animation and allows the student to produce a short animated film. It introduces students to issues in the history and theory of the traditional animated cartoon through viewings and discussions of many of the 'classic' cartoons.
