About this Unit
This unit introduces students to a broad range of different ways of doing animation, from cut-outs to clay models to computer animation. It aims to provide an overview of the field of animation practices, styles and concepts through a combination of short lectures, practical exercises, demonstrations and viewings of selected animated films/videos. Students are introduced to the critical animation features of timing and movement.
