About this Unit
In 2010 this unit replaced by 101709 - Language and Grammatical Concepts 3A: Arabic. This is the first of two units that aim to provide a thorough review of comprehension, speaking, reading and writing skills, as well as grammar and vocabulary of Modern Standard Arabic, its range of registers and its linguistic characteristics. This unit is intended for students who have knowledge and skills in Arabic equivalent to two years of tertiary education in the language, and who wish to consolidate, develop and improve these skills. This unit is mandatory for students who wish to pursue a major in Arabic.
