The Master of Education Mathematics Education specialisation equips primary and secondary school teachers of mathematics with specialist skills, knowledge, and dispositions to assist them in strengthening their role as mathematics specialist teachers within primary or secondary school settings. Through a combination of course content and independent research, graduates will develop deep mathematical pedagogical content knowledge, a strong understanding of the importance of research-based enquiry to inform teaching and leading in mathematics, and skills in mentoring and coaching colleagues.
