The Undergraduate Certificate in Counselling and Mental Health combines a range of units in the social sciences and psychology that serves as a foundation for basic counselling skills, with a particular focus on counselling those experiencing mental health challenges. Students are prepared for careers in a wide range of human services organisations across diverse practice areas, including case work, group or individual counselling, in person or remote, and supporting community development and crisis intervention projects.
