In 2012 this unit replaced by 101829 - Public Relations Tactics. This unit will help you understand the public sphere as an intermediary between society and politics, private and public speakers. You will also learn to distinguish between various models of the public sphere and the dual character of public opinion as issue preference and verbal judgement. You will be able to explore the public opinion industry from inside and out – as a practitioner and an academic. You will study traditional and new internet strategies and techniques of researching, monitoring and influencing the public opinion.
