About this Unit
The unit extends the introductory work of Performance Laboratory 1 in theoretical and practical work in Performance. Concepts and skills in Acting, Movement and Voice are extended and applied in an increasing range of performance situations. Particular emphasis is placed on extending the skills and creative thinking essential to performers, and on widening the application of such skills and thinking. Essential is a growing understanding of the interrelation between theory and practice and of performance as a testing ground for theory.
