The Networking sub-major provides the students with the basic knowledge for analysis, design, and implementation of networked systems. It offers the students the opportunity to develop the technical skills needed for management and secure operation of the most commonly used networks.

Student must complete 40 credit points as follows

300095 Computer Networks and Internets

And choose two of

300575 Networked Systems Design
300143 Network Security
300166 Systems and Network Management
300952 Wireless and Mobile Networks
300569 Computer Security
301124 Ethical Hacking Principles and Practice

Please note unit 300597 - Parallel and Distributed Computing will no longer be available from 2018. Students may take unit 300569 Computor Security or 301124 Ethical Hacking principles and Practice instead
